Goal: Use RDP to access a Windows machine behind a firewall using plink.exe

Requirements: * Windows machine that you want to RDP into * Jump server (or internet connected machine with SSH server running and able to be accessed from the internet) * Local Windows machine with RDP client

Download plink (on the remote Windows Lab Machine)

Enable RDP connections on the local Windows machine

Create a connection using plink that will do remote port forwarding from the jump server to the workstation that you want to access

$ plink.exe -P PORT_SSH_SERVICE USER@SSH_SERVER -R PORT_TO_FORWARD:localhost:3389

Set up local port forwarding on a local Windows workstation connecting through SSH

Download plink (on the local Windows Machine)

Use plink to create a tunnel from the local workstation to the remote machine

$ plink.exe -P PORT_SSH_SERVICE USER@SSH_SERVER -L PORT_TO_FORWARD:localhost:PORT_TO_DISTANT_MACHINE

Use the local Windows remote desktop program to create a connection to the workstation through SSH
